This is my ranking of Paris' arrondissements from a tourist point of view. In 2022, this arrondissement had the lowest rates of assault and battery and property destruction. Each Paris Arrondissement is different and offers visitors a different vibe. QUICK FACTS: If someone makes you uncomfortable, move away (dont worry about being impolite). Its the 14th. The 6th arrondissement is home to cafs that once welcomed literary legends like Ernest Hemingway and Simone de Beauvoir. The eclectic and fun 2nd is still close to all the major sites in the 1st but is where youll find more textile shops, hip boutiques and the Rue Montorgueil Street Market.
